To round out our 2021 season, themed "Montreal on Vacation!", the Heritage Montreal team invites you to take a virtual tour of Montreal's parks.
Our volunteer guide Catherine presents the history of urban parks, which appeared in the 19th century in large North American cities in response to industrialization. Conceived as places to walk and relax, parks helped to beautify the city and provide green spaces for the urban population.
